In weekly fantasy football leagues, people are going to be looking for sleepers who can help them get off to a fast start in 2015. At the beginning of the season, there can be a lot of guesswork since nobody really knows for sure how everything will play out. Here is a look at three players who could be fantasy football sleeper picks week one thanks to the opponent, their opportunity and of course, their skill.

Greg Jennings

It was not a very good run with the Minnesota Vikings for Jennings, so he will be looking to make a splash with the Miami Dolphins in his first outing. The team is going to be a bit shorthanded thanks to some injury issues, so they will really rely on Jennings in the opener. Going up against the Washington Redskins gives him a favorable matchup to start the season off right. This is a guy who had 1,000 yard seasons in Green Bay, so it could be a big year for him in Miami.

Eli Manning

The New York Giants open up the season against three pretty poor passing defenses, so the quarterback should be able to get off to a hot start. He is one of the fantasy football sleeper picks week one because a lot of points will be scored in the Giants-Cowboys contest. Victor Cruz is hoping to be healthy by Week 1, and Odell Beckham Jr. has already proven he is a star in the making. Remember, he threw for 30 touchdowns last year, so he isn’t quite done yet as an elite level talent.

Chris Ivory

Things are setting up nicely for Ivory this season, as he could be the top running back on the New York Jets. They ran the ball a lot last year, and should be pounding the ball on the ground a lot in 2015 as well. Durability for the entire season is a concern, but Ivory has a chance to be pretty good early thanks to a favorable schedule. In week one, look for him to get plenty of touches against the Browns. With Geno Smith hurt, that should give him even more of an opportunity.
