1. Rutgers Coach Fired- Rutgers basketball has never been known as a powerhouse, but now they are in the news for all the wrong reasons. Rutgers has fired their head coach Mike Rice after an Outside the Lines report revealed video footage of Rice physically berating players, and yelling gay slurs at them. The video is quite disturbing, and makes you wonder why something wasn’t done sooner. Rice coached the Scarlet Knights for the last three seasons, compiling a 44-51 record. Check out some of the clips of Mike Rice in practice below.

2. Three Pointer Record– Now for a much more lighthearted college basketball story. Michigan is in the Final 4, due in large part to the sharp shooting abilities of freshman guard Nik Stauskas. Stauskas is one of the best long range shooters in the nation, and to prove it, Stauskas went for a three pointers made record. After previously notching a high of 96, Stauskas manages to nail an incredible 102 shots from beyond the arc in just five minutes.

What do you think of the Mike Rice firing? Do you think another team should hire him? Should be be legally prosecuted  Let us know in the comments!
