Johnny Damon has been know often times for his wavy locks more then he has for anything on the actual baseball diamond. But the former Red Sox, turned Yankee, turned Tiger, turned Ray, now Indian, came through with an incredible defensive play against the Baltimore Orioles yesterday. The Indians were down 7-1 when Nick Markakis stepped to the plate and popped it up to foul territory.  Damon ran it down, and pull off his best Derek Jeter impersonation, jumping fully into the crowd, and coming up with the catch. Check it out.

Pretty impressive huh. You gotta give Damon credit. The guy has been around forever. He’s 38, and based on this defense, he has no plans of slowing down anytime soon. It’s always great to see old veterans like Damon keep up with the young kids every once in a while.
