We touched briefly on Wojciech Szczesny, Arsenal and Poland goalkeeper, in our Group A preview earlier this week. We mentioned that he was a rising star for the team, and clearly that is because of his stellar goal keeping. However, in a recent practice session, he pulled a move we are used to seeing from the Thierry Henry’s and Cristiano Ronaldo’s of the world. Szczesny set up for a free kick, and curved it impressively into the net. In fast motion, the goal looks impressive enough. However, when you slow it donw, you can see the true brilllance of it. Check it out.

Yeah….that happened.  How does he get that kind of bend on the ball from that awkward angle is what I want to know. Maybe they will use Szczesny as a wild card if they need a big Euro 2012 goal?
