A few weeks ago, we posted a video of Jay Pharoah doing a spot on impersonation of Stephen A. Smith that had me on the floor laughing. Well with the show now wrapped up, it only seemed like a matter of time until Pharoah stopped by the set of ESPN First Take to face off with Smith himself.  To give Smith credit, he has had a great sense of humor about the whole thing. Here’s a full 15 minutes of Pharoah stealing the show at First Take.

 

If you would like to see more of Pharoah’s impersonations, this is a great clip of him doing Will Smith and Denzel Washington. I’m pretty sure this is how SNL discovered him. I hope they use him more next year, and not just for his impressions, because I think he’s had some good bits on his own right.
