Play of the Day: Unbelievable Junior College Catch

Derrick-Salberg-catch

Well this is one of the best plays you will see all year, and it didn’t come from the professionals. It didn’t even come from the college level! No this one came from the often overlook junior college baseball world. Derrick Salberg of little Lower Columbia College gives us one of the most unbelievable plays you will ever see. The opposing team hit a monster to left field that look destine to be a home run, but Salberg would have none of it. He timed his leap perfectly, clearing the 4 foot fence, and making one of the cleanest and most impressive catches ever caught on camera. Check it out.

Pretty ridiculous huh? Looks like Salberg has been watching old video of Torii Hunter.  What a play.

What are your thoughts on the catch? Let us know in the comments!
