Before the NHL playoffs, there was talks that the #8 Los Angeles Kings could give the #1 Vancouver Canucks some trouble. The Kings matched up well against the President Cup Winners(awarded to the team with the best regular season record), and it was thought that this series could go the distance. Well it almost turned into a sweep, and amazingly, not for the top seeded Canucks! The Kings were able to jump out to a 3-0 lead, but weren’t able to close it out in Los Angeles. They traveled back to Vancouver, and ended the game and series in style in overtime, with Jarret Stoll getting the game winner. Check it out.
Do the #8 Kings have a shot at going all the way? Let us know in the comments!
